 Usually, when we go into yesterday, we go into guilt, shame, and resentments. Certainly we all have happy memories, and we should treasure them. But most of the time, when we go back to yesterday, we waste a lot of time beating ourselves up about things we can’t change. We focus on mistakes and regrets.   This is one of my biggest life lessons, trying to move forward in thoughts and learning to live for this very moment is a great challenge for many, as it is for myself! Today is one of those day's i am facing lot's of challenges, Change happens and i need to move on, yesterday has already happened!

                                                Kinda bugging me out!  

     I have a fear of bugs, most all bugs! But, not spiders.
I live in a wooded lush green area and there are no bugs! Where have the bugs gone, was it too cold of a winter for them? 
Any other time in the past years, right about this time of the summer we would have, beetles, flyes,wasp,hornets yellow jackets, aunts, all kinds of creepy crawlers driving me crazy! The one I am most worried about not seeing is the Bee's we have not seen but a few this whole Season!

'll miss them when they're gone from your life. I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life." I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn. Maya Angelou died today- 5-28-2014

Born on April 4, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, writer and civil rights activist Maya Angelou is known for her 1969 memoir, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, which made literary history as the first nonfiction best-seller by an African-American woman. In 1971, Angelou published the Pulitzer Prize-nominated poetry collection Just Give Me a Cool Drink of Water 'Fore I Die. She later wrote the poem "On the Pulse of Morning"—one of her most famous works—which she recited at President Bill Clinton's inauguration in 1993. Angelou has received several honors throughout her career, including two NAACP Image Awards in the outstanding literary work (nonfiction) category, in 2005 and 2009.

She celebrated life! a mentor to many, to learn to overcome!

Change happens ~ Lisa M..... I feel we have to be ok with it! Today feels a little different without my Fathers in it! He was/is a brave man, he hated the cold! and was happy to be in California this past winter, he went still on his 73rd Birthday 5-20, and died yesterday 5-21-14 at 4:46 pm. My Brother Glenn Mosham words have stayed with me, " Dad hated being cold, he said; it's hard to think of him laying on ice" Wow he is right, kinda made me sad, then I said; he ask to be a medical cadaver for science research, he knew he would be placed on ice for a year or so! I am very proud of him, he wanted to make a difference in others lives, by letting students learn about his type of cancers and kidney failure, heart issues, and vascular disease. It was hard to witness such medical issues, and seeing him suffer in ways I never knew one could! But you know what, he still had a ... Can you give me .. AN OH Yeah!!! Love him, just wanted to share, this story of a brave man!

11 billboard ads showcase non-believers

Cleveland, Ohio – Billboard ads are being placed around Northeast Ohio showcasing area nonbelievers as part of a national “Out of the Closet” campaign sponsored by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Highlighted on 11 billboards (nine around Cleveland and two in Akron) are individuals, couples, families and/or groups, with their own personalized quotes on each board. The ads are intended to inspire other area atheists, agnostics, humanists and freethinkers to be comfortable about “coming out of the closet” as non-believers.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) has been running this ad campaign in cities around the U.S. since late 2010. This is the first time that it has been done in Northeast Ohio. The participating groups are Northern Ohio Freethought Society (NOFS), and the Akron Secular Student Alliance (SSA) at Akron University.

Annie Laurie Gaylor, Co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, stated, “It’s time to welcome atheists and agnostics into the American mainstream. Freethinkers are respectable and have much to offer our nation.”
“This is very exciting for us, and I am grateful that we can be a part of it,” said Marni Huebner-Tiborsky, Director of NOFS, a chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. “I hope this campaign has a positive effect in our communities, and gets people to rethink their views about atheists.”

Marni’s husband Mark Tiborsky is on one of the billboard ads with his wife. “We just want to let other non-believers, or those on the fence about their religious belief, know they’re not alone and that the local non-theist community is both welcoming and growing.”

Sharon Woznicki, another NOFS member, said, “I’m very proud to be part of this campaign. We’re letting people know it’s okay to be an atheist, and we want other like-minded people to be comfortable coming out of the closet.”

The billboard ads are slated to appear by the evening of May 5 and will be in place for one month. For more information, please visit:

As a very logical, left-brain individual, considering the moon’s phases meant little to me until I met a woman a few years older than I who focused on such things. Frankly, she focused on the entire universe both mentally and through her yoga. At 63 years young, she could strike yoga poses most young women could barely attempt. She had a calm presence about her, even though she was rather hyper, but with a nice balance. Not sure how to put my finger on it, but she seemed to have a soft yet confident grip on her life.
            She taught me about the New Moon, when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth. Like clockwork, she lights a black candle and chooses someone in her life who has a need, or who could appreciate her best wishes. On Facebook, she reminds all of her friends, of which there are many, to light their black candles, too. Such a candle sits on my writing desk now, waiting for my gentle reminder from her in case I miss the date on my calendar where I’ve circled each New Moon date for the year. I strike a match, start the flame, make a wish for someone in my life, and enjoy watching the wick burn for a few minutes. It’s supposed to be a moment when the world opens up to us, offering support for us in fresh journeys or new projects. Relaxing. A nice ritual.
            Many artists have recognized the power of the New Moon and used it in their work. Stephanie Myers infamously used it in her Twilight Series, representing Bella’s understanding of a new world. Albums and songs have been named New Moon. Religious holidays originate around a New Moon. As a writer, I appreciate that the New Moon is like a blank page of a yet-to-be-told story. It’s a good time to start something different, or wish a pure start for someone else. Like starting off the New Year with resolutions, only with a New Moon you have a chance to do the same each lunar month which has a rejuvenating feel.
            The moon rises with the sun and sets with the sun. With such a synchronized pattern of two huge objects that possess so much power over the Earth, we experience tidal and other changes. Whether we believe in astrology or not, the fact is the New Moon affects us all. But for me, I’ll continue to light my little black candle, because we can never wish too much enough goodwill on the world.

 Today 4 28 14     New Moon - The Moon's unilluminated side is facing the Earth. The Moon is not visible (except during a solar eclipse).The lighted side of the Moon faces away from the Earth.  This means that the Sun, Earth, and Moon are almost in a straight line, with the Moon in between the Sun and the Earth.  The Moon that we see looks very dark.

A  total lunar eclipse starts in my area EDT at 1:58 am – as the moon travels across the Earth’s shadow – will take over 3.5 hours. The best part of the eclipse however is when the moon reaches totality and turns a shade of orange /red color! I am starting a 36 hour fast of juice, water and tea, 12 hours before the full moon.

I will soon meet Roxanne Meadows and Jacque Fresco with The Venus Project! a goal of mine for over 10 years. The term and meaning of a Resource Based Economy was originated by Jacque Fresco. It is a holistic socio-economic system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude. All resources become the common heritage of all of the inhabitants, not just a select few. The premise upon which this system is based is that the Earth is abundant with plentiful resource; our practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant and counter-productive to our survival.

Modern society has access to highly advanced technology and can make available food, clothing, housing and medical care; update our educational system; and develop a limitless supply of renewable, non-contaminating energy. By supplying an efficiently designed economy, everyone can enjoy a very high standard of living with all of the amenities of a high technological society.
A resource-based economy would utilize existing resources from the land and sea, physical equipment, industrial plants, etc. to enhance the lives of the total population. The McQuillans were the Lords of Route from the late 13th century until they were displaced by the MacDonalds after losing two major battles against them during the mid and late-16th century.

In 1534, one of the child members of the McQuillan family claimed to have seen a woman in a white dress standing at the edge of the cliff, looking out at the ocean at sunset. He said he watched her fade into the wind. No one believed the child so he retrieved his eldest sibling out the next night to watch for the ghost, but it did not appear. Then in the early 1550s, many people claimed to see a woman in a white dress walking down the shore below Castle Dunluce at sunset until finally one day the McQuillan boy, now in his 30's, walked down to the shore and tried to speak with the ghost. After that, it stopped. No reports have ever been made of seeing the woman again.

I learned of this tale, and when i first seen the movie" Lady in White" it reminded me of the stories once told.  plus happens to be my children's favorite movie when they were little , they still watch it!

I used to get migraines that would stretch out for days. After trying so many things (without luck), I went to a dermatologist  about my skin lesions that i have had since they first appeared when i was 7 years old. I was diagnosed with a form of  Celiac disease called Dermatitis herpetiformis, also known as DH and Duhring's disease. With in ten days of  removing all gluten out of my diet, my migraines practically disappeared. I would definitely suggest getting food allergy tested for my fellow migraine sufferers.

Just the very thought and action of writing this post, stirs up my fears. I struggle with using the words that i might know how to spell to help me express my self, challenging my dyslexia.

I once feared words, now i search for the right ones that are going to make a difference. Lisa Mosham

Lisa Renée Went out to play, on a Sun shinny day. She played and played, until the end of the Day.

As I recall, my Uncle Audra sang this verse  every time he greeting me, I always smiled, and made sure to acknowledge his sweet hellos to me! Over the years I have forgotten the 2nd part of the song he’d sing. It’s sad not to be able to ask him today, he suffers from dementia,  lives in Kentucky,  so far away.  I will treasure this memory on this sun shinny day, as I go out to play!
